While the past few years may have been a pretty wild ride, we still have a lot to be thankful for. 77 years at Fulton and Main is no small feat, and we're only here because of the unwavering love from our fans, the hard work of our amazing staff, and the support from our neighborhood and city. We know everyone’s busy getting ready for the holiday, so we just wanted to take a moment to let you all know that we truly appreciate you. We hope you'll stop in tonight with a few friends for our annual Turkey Bash where we give away turkeys, pies, Olympic merch, wearables and glassware every 15 minutes from 5-10pm. Or join us this Friday for our gift care sale kickoff (buy $100 get $20 free/) and you might as well grab a glass of @gooseisland BCS on tap (while it lasts!). We got a lot of fun events coming up in the next few weeks (Turkey Bash, Black Friday, Oyster & Pilsner Night, our single barrel bourbon release from @jeppsonsbourbon, plus a bunch more), but we just wanted to remind you that we will be open our regular hours this week — except for Thanksgiving! Join us tomorrow night (Thu Nov 17) for a holiday wine tasting from 6-8pm. Anthony from @heritagewinecellars will be here pouring some of our favorites, some new styles to try, and you can even help us pick the next wines on our menu by filling out your favorites on the ballot at the end of the tasting. Wines we'll be sampling out:Vinum Pinot NoirAngeline CabTrue Myth CabSanta Julia MalbecMarin Ray Sonoma Chardonnay …Plus a few more bottles, and even a few whiskey samples from @driftlessglen and @whiskeyacresAdmission is a $10 donation to The Rock River Valley Food Pantry and includes the wine tasting, light appetizers, and prize drawing for some Olympic Tavern wearables. Olympic Tavern fans — I’m sure you know that most businesses have been running with limited staff the last year, and we are no different. We keep a close-knit, tight kitchen crew, and unfortunately, today we have a total of four cooks out sick. And honestly, that's just not enough crew to do our menu justice. So unfortunately, this means we will be closed today, Thursday Nov 3, 2022. We’re giving our staff the day off to rest up, take their vitamins, and get healthy so we can come back strong for the weekend. Not an easy call to make, but it's the right call.We plan on being back in action with our normal hours again tomorrow, Friday November 4th, with fresh walleye for our Friday Fish Fry, and the last run of our Oktoberfest sausages and schnitzels. We might still be a little shorthanded, so please be patient, but we hope to see you all this weekend. We really do appreciate all our fans. It's a beautiful day in #Rockford, and although the weather is saying "summer", our menu is all fall flavors! We restocked all four sausages from Usinger's Famous Sausage, pounded out more Schnitzels, and since it's saturday, brunch specials and loaded bloodies till 4pm, then we'll start carving Prime Rib for dinner service. Our bar crew will mix you up a Caramel Apple Sangria made with Curran's Orchard spiced cider, or pour one of four Oktoberfest beers on tap in the traditional 1L mug. Kitchen rocks till 11pm tonight, bar till midnight or later. Call for curbside pickup or RSVPs at 815.962.8758. And yes, we still have some seating available on the patio!
