So many of our guests have asked us "when are oysters returning to the menu?" The answer is: today. Join us tonight for a dozen or half dozen combo of freshly shucked Sweet Petites from Martha's Vineyard, MA (mild, low salinity, creamy) and Fanny Bay from Vancouver, BC (briny, plump, slightly fruity). Great with a pint of Guinness, a dry martini, or a glass of Prosecco, oysters are an amazing bar snack. We're not much into making health claims, but eating four oysters gives you well over your daily dose of calcium, copper, iodine, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus and zinc.A quick word about seafood: Some people think you can't get good seafood in the Midwest. Those people don't realize that we're barely an hour away from one of the biggest airports in the world, bringing in the freshest possible shellfish and finfish every few hours. We are always happy to see the Chicago @fortunefishgourmet truck show up to see what amazing quality seafood is on offer to us so we can share it with our guests.
